Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do with proxy services provided by Prox'Easy. It forms part of our Terms of Service and is incorporated into them by reference. By purchasing or using any of our services, you agree to this policy.
Our proxies carry your traffic from real mobile and residential networks. Misuse does not only harm the people on the other end of it — it puts the IP ranges, carrier relationships, and infrastructure that every one of our customers depends on at risk. We enforce this policy accordingly.
1. Who This Applies To
This policy applies to you, to anyone you allow to use your account or credentials, and to any traffic that passes through a proxy assigned to you. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your proxies, whether or not you carried it out yourself. Sharing, reselling, or sub-letting your credentials does not transfer that responsibility.
2. Prohibited Activities
You agree to use our proxy services only for lawful purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- Unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, or data
- Distribution of malware, viruses, or other harmful software
- Sending unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
- Activities that infringe upon intellectual property rights
- Child exploitation or abuse material of any kind
- Harassment, threats, or intimidation of any individual
- Fraudulent activities or identity theft
- Any activity that disrupts or interferes with our services or infrastructure
This is the same list of prohibited activities set out in Section 3 of our Terms of Service. Where this policy and the Terms of Service describe the same conduct, they are to be read as one.
3. Network and Infrastructure Abuse
In addition to the activities above, the following uses are prohibited because of the direct risk they pose to our network, our upstream providers, and other customers:
- Denial-of-service attacks, traffic floods, or amplification of any kind, whether originated by you or relayed through your proxy
- Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or brute-force credential attacks against systems you do not own or are not authorized to test
- Operating open relays, open proxies, or exit nodes that expose your assigned proxy to third parties
- Sending email (SMTP) through our proxies
- Attempting to circumvent, disable, or interfere with our rate limits, rotation timers, authentication, or usage accounting
- Any use that causes an upstream carrier, hosting provider, or IP reputation service to block, throttle, or blacklist our address space
4. Fair Usage
Our mobile proxies include unlimited bandwidth. We reserve the right to apply fair usage measures if a single account's usage significantly degrades service quality for other customers. Consistent with our Terms of Service, we will notify you before taking any action related to fair usage.
Automated IP rotation is subject to the minimum rotation intervals shown in your dashboard. These floors exist to protect the mobile devices behind your proxy; scripting around them is treated as infrastructure abuse under Section 3.
5. Enforcement
Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take any of the following actions:
- Contact you to request that the activity stop
- Rotate, rate-limit, or reassign the IP addresses involved
- Suspend the affected service or your entire account
- Terminate the affected service or your entire account
- Report the activity to law enforcement or to the affected party where we are required or legally entitled to do so
For severe violations — in particular child exploitation material, attacks on third-party systems, or anything that places our infrastructure or carriers at immediate risk — we act first and without prior notice. As set out in our Terms of Service, all payments and deposits are non-refundable, and no refund or credit is issued for services terminated under this policy.
Upon termination, proxy credentials, IP addresses, and associated resources are permanently released and cannot be recovered.
6. Cooperation with Legal Requests
We do not monitor or log the content of the traffic that passes through your proxies. We do retain the account, billing, service and technical records described in our Privacy Policy — which do not include the sites you visit or the data you transmit — and we will disclose them where we are legally required to do so by a valid legal process. We will not fabricate, exaggerate, or volunteer data beyond what such a request compels.
7. Reporting Abuse
If you believe traffic originating from one of our IP addresses is being used in violation of this policy, please tell us. Include the IP address, the timestamp with its time zone, and any relevant logs or evidence, so we can identify the responsible service.
